2026 Bloom Fund Recipient

Kore Coffee in New York City was awarded a Bloom grant for a project to reduce waste by building out a program that encourages customers to order drinks "for here" and enjoy them on-site, rather than taking them to-go. With the support of the Bloom grant, Kore plans to add more tables and chairs to increase dine-in seating, making staying feel more comfortable. They also plan to introduce simple uniforms to support a more intentional and welcoming experience. Clear signage and menu prompts will help customers understand why choosing "for here" matters. This project helps reduce waste while strengthening the everyday café culture they're building at Kore Coffee.

Bloom Fund

Counter Culture Coffee collects $0.01 from every pound of coffee sold to fund our Bloom program. Annually, $1 per pound of our spring coffee blend, Perennial, goes to further increase our contribution. Bloom provides grants to support sustainability initiatives at Counter Culture Coffee partner cafes. Rooted in the belief that everyone’s path toward sustainability looks a little different, this program supports projects of all shapes and sizes that our partners identify as impactful.
