Shiferaw Dukale - Natural Sundried

blueberry | pecan | cocoa

Roast Level

light roast

Counter Culture has partnered with the Jabanto farmers' group since its formation in 2017. Most of the coffee they produce is natural sundried, and each year we have the privilege of tasting a wide range of exceptional single-farmer lots. Even amongst this impressive lineup, Shiferaw Dukale’s coffee stood out for its unique fruit complexity and sweetness. We taste classic notes of blueberry mingling alongside pecan and cocoa.

La Golondrina – Honey Processed

raspberry | lime | cocoa

Roast Level

light roast

La Golondrina is a coffee we return to year after year. This lot offers something new. Since 2007, we've partnered with the Orgánica cooperative in Cauca, Colombia, whose members share our dedication to quality and sustainability. Their flagship coffee, La Golondrina, has become one of our most beloved single origins. For this special release, several cooperative members experimented with honey processing. By removing the skin of ripe coffee cherries but leaving the sticky fruit mucilage intact during drying, they created coffee with a distinctly different character. This lot offers a lively twist on the familiar La Golondrina profile, with expressive fruit flavors and notes of raspberry and lime.
